Drugs

Since the ER I've been given many, many pain killers. Most were not prescribed after the ER. Some I've just started. Just thought I'd give everyone a list of what I've been taken. Just in case you were wondering why I've been so dazed and confused. And for the record these were all obtained legally by prescription. I am not abusing any of these drugs, and I don't advocate drug abuse.

1. Percocet: My current painkiller of choice. It is a narcotic and addictive. This has me slightly worried.
2. Anti-biotic: Before we knew it was cancer, did nothing.
3. Lid Vi/Diphen/Mag-Al: A mouthwash that mildly numbs the mouth.
4. Lidocaine Gel: An ointment that really numbs the mouth. With out this I would not be able to eat, drink or even swallow.
5. Ibuprofen: Four times over the counter strength.
6. Valium: To calm me down for the MRI and PET scan.
7: Fentanyl Patch: May replace Percocet as my pain killer of choice. When the two are used in tandem I feel almost pain free.
8. HurriCaine: A topical anesthetic. Was my anesthetic of choice before Lidocaine,

Just to give everyone and idea of what I have keep track of (what to take when) and why my brain has slowed down a little bit. And why my liver might soon decide to rebel.
